Resilient Foundations: The Gulf Coast after Katrina

Charrette: 12 students from the UT School of Architecture were commissioned to participate in the Venice Biennale 10th International Architecture Exhibition, “Cities, Architecture and Society.”
Graphic Design: Research, analysis, and mapping of the natural hazards of the region, important resource production areas, ecologically significant lands and valuable cultural resources resulting in 20 large-format infographics organized to suggest the best possible future for the Gulf Coast.
Curation: “Resilient Foundations: The Gulf Coast after Katrina,” curates a range of proposals on post-Katrina reconstruction plans that were submitted by various universities and private firms. All students played a significant role in the coordination of gallery construction and arrangement.
