Chestnut Mixed-Use
Austin, Texas
Miró Rivera Architects (Clayton Fry and Ed Richardson)
Program: As part of a progressive sustainable development proposal for East Austin, the 30,000 s.f. mixed-use office structure incorporates solar arrays, daylit interior spaces, and a living screen wall for shading. In the urban context, the building will hold a key role by framing public pedestrian access to a new downtown commuter rail stop through its monumental breezeway.
Schematic Design: As part of a 2-person team, I directly collaborated with the project architect in concept formation, space planning, detail development, and the administration of production. I made significant contributions to the drawing and development of a full Schematic Set.
Modeling & Presentation: As the primary model manager, I built and maintained the virtual building, including rendering and illustration with full entourage.
