Desert Development
Moab, Utah
Miró Rivera Architects (Clayton Fry and Ed Richardson)
Program: Between Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah the city of Moab supports a unique lifestyle of adventure sport and eco-tourism. Miró Rivera was tasked by an ecologically conscious land speculator to coordinate a proposal for private development using a single unit type. Through modular rotation and a creative site array, the community identity is fostered and privacy is maintained for each unit within the open field.
Schematic Design: As part of an 2-person team, I directly collaborated with the project architect in concept formation, space planning, detail development, and the administration of production. I made significant contributions to the drawing and development of a full Schematic Set.
Modeling & Presentation: As the primary model manager, I built and maintained the virtual building, including rendering and illustration with full entourage.
